Configuring Windows XP
If you use Windows XP, connect to the Bell Internet High Speed service by following the instructions below.
You'll need the following information on hand before you start:

- Your user ID (which should look like b1wxyz99)
- Your e-mail address
- Your e-mail password
- Click the
button, and then click Control Panel.
- In the Control Panel window, click Network Connections.
Or, if you see Network and Internet Connections, click that, then click Network Connections. - Click Create a new connection in the left column.
- The New Connection Wizard appears. Click Next.
- Click the Connect to the Internet, then click Next.

- On the next screen, click the Set up my connection manually option, and then click Next.

- On the next screen, click the Connect using a broadband connection that requires a user name and password option, and then click Next.

- On the next screen, you will be asked for a name for the connection. Type Bell Internet, and then click Next.

- In the User name box type your Bell Internet user ID, and in the Password and Confirm password boxes type your access password.

- Click Next to continue.
- On the final screen, click to check Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop option.

- Click Finish.
- Double-click the Bell Internet connection icon
on your desktop.

- Click the Connect button.
- Double-click the Bell Internet connection icon
on your desktop.

- Click the Disconnect button.
